Most of my tr...Actually I do something in between. Most of my training is a rotation of pressing twice one week, then once the next week. Then I do legs twice one week, and once the next. So they get hit 3 times over a two weeks span instead of twice (the once a week way). I have found I can recover from this and make steady progress.
