3 days out - 255

When I talked to my diet guy earlier in the week, we both agreed that I needed to be 255 by Wednesday morning in order to make the 242 cut without doing some drastic shit.

Well............

Last week, around Thursday I believe, I was as heavy as 271.  Yes, 271.  Now, that's a lot of bloat and water retention.  There's no "fat loss" that happens over this short period of time.  Saturday I started my water loading at 2.5-3 gallons a day, and that will continue on until tonight when I start drastically cutting water.

My diet since Saturday has looked like so.......

Breakfast - 2 scoops of whey and casein in water

10-11 - 6 egg whites with spinach

1-2 p.m. - 6 ounces of chicken with almonds

4-5 p.m. - whey iso in water with PB

7-8 p.m. - 6 ounces of chicken with salad and almonds

10 p.m. - 2 scoops of whey and casein in water with PB

That's it.  I cut out all carbs completely and the water loading tends to do the rest.

I am started to get that "depleted feeling"....feeling flat and not strong.  But hey this is part of the process.  Tonight I cut water, and tomorrow I further depleting basically only having some casein pudding in water a few times.  I'll be writing more on that as well......

  2. Paul, I have a meet on 11/9 so I'm very interested in your water weight manipulation tracking. I was semi-successful with my own water weight manipulation for a meet in July, I lost about 5 pounds and did make weight. I'll need to lose about 7-8 pounds this time.

I'm always worried about strength lose due to diet while making weight these last weeks before a meet. I finished Strong-15 last week (didn't miss a lift the entire cycle by the way) , so I should peak at the right time. I have my sights on 3 USPA American records and hope I don't sabotage things by dropping these extra pounds.

    Good luck at Relentless!

  3. A nude selfie? Really? That's not creepy or anything.

    1. Then why are you here looking at it and posting? Put your big boy pants on or go back and play in the kiddie room with your juice box.

    2. Wasn't expecting to see a naked man pic at this place. A better question might be why you think people want to see that. Being a big boy = looking at naked selfies of powerlifters? And I normally like and support this place. Just seems out of character. I do like those juice boxes though.

    3. I'm actually NOT naked. And it's simply a weight cutting pic. Seriously man.
