Training - Deadlift

Notes - That was it for tonight. I am running a low grade fever and feeling all around atrocious. There is some kind of 24 hour bug going around so I can only guess that's what it is. 475 moved fast even though I was nervous with my bicep and feeling very under the weather.


  1. Do you pronate the grip on the arm you injured 100% of the time now? (Assuming you use a mixed and not hook grip)

  2. I still use a mixed grip. But I still supinate that same hand so that's why I am nervous still.

  3. What is your progression method for the singles Paul?

  4. I usually sit down and figure out what I want to hit about 10 days out from the meet. Then I backtrack from there about 8-10 weeks. I will fiddle with the numbers until I feel good about them. This can also change as the cycle goes on based on if I am ahead or behind the curve.
