  3. Hey Paul. I'm just getting into benching. Tried it when I first started training, sucked, never did it again.

    2 years on, I need to bench. I've been doing it on and off for a few months now.. just feeling my form, what feels good, what doesn't, etc.

    As I'm new to it, I just want to develop good habits early on. How often would you recommend a new bencher do pause reps?

    I'm thinking I should pause every rep, and it'll suck at first but later on I'll be seriously strong.. I know I should just "go and do it" and not talk about it, but I'm fairly clueless about benching.

    1. Thanks Paul and just to let you know this has been my first full week of using your principles and it has been as ass kicker but feel bigger and stronger already with some soreness sprinkled on top.
