315x10

Hammer Shrugs - 500x23
Curl Machine -  50% set stack x 10-3
Dip Machine - stack x 15,10

Notes - Felt good.  Everything I thought of implementing a while back has been done so, and what a difference it is already making.  One of the great things about having all of these years in experience is you really learn from your mistakes, and changing out some of the things I did in my meet prep is already paying off.  Namely, more overhead work (even though I'm not weak there), lighter on incline (the 350 method), and then not benching very often.

Feels good man.

  1. Hey Paul this is a random question but would you say seeking a career in IT is a good move? Do you like your job? What do you do on a typical day and what kind of education do you need? Sorry for all the questions I've been considering going into IT but I'm not exactly sure what it all entails.

    1. that's a very loaded question.

Generally what I have found is that your managers and people you work with tend to "make" your job. IT is IT. Anywhere I've worked, I did the same thing. What made one place better or worse was how I had to apply that work.

I guess I could write this into a blog post that has nothing to do with lifting because it would be long.

    2. Lol yeah sorry about that, I'm just kind of stuck right now because I graduated with an undergraduate degree and don't know what to do with it. I've been debating going to graduate school or switching gears entirely and getting a bachelors in IT. I don't want to be filthy rich, just financially comfortable.
