Training - Support work for legs and back

  1. So, almost finished my first Strong-15 cycle. Haven't felt this strong in a few years. Weights are just flying up. Only the last week had a few grinders.
    This week is supposed to be a de-load week followed by the test week. This morning I was unloading a U-Haul and put a few very light boxes down and my low back seized. Now I'm in all sorts of pain. My thought is that I should skip the de-load week AND the test week and just hopefully my back recovers to start the next cycle that is a combination of the Pause squat only cycle and the Short-15 for the deadlift and bench.
    Thoughts?

    1. Try testing your piriformis. If that's what it is, use the deload week to stretch it and it'll heal up. Then you can do a light week, and then test or just run another cycle.
