Training - Incline Db Press and Poundstone Curls Fucking Smashed

Bodyweight - 251

Incline Db Press -
20's x 50,40
60's x 12,8
100's x 5,5

Strip set - 140's x 11 -> 100's x 5

Carter Curls - bar x 200
Face Pulls - kindergarten band x 100

Notes - No longer will they be known as Poundstone Curls.  From now on, they will be known as Carter curls since, as far as I know, no one has ever put up 2 bills with the empty bar before.  Eric Lilliebridge accused me of having some kind of genetic mutation work done to my arms in order to be able to do this, however I think Eric is just a sore loser because he said he'd cry uncle if I did 200.

Oh yeah I also did a strip set of incline db without the weights coming off.

    1. I know what to say: It's incredible and should be included in the Guinness World Records.

    2. I think that's overstating it a bit. I'm sure there is some dude out there that could blast out 1000 or some crazy shit like that.

  3. That's crazy. I am doing 1 set a week of Carter Curls and find the progression is going nicely

Sets have been: 65, 80, 105 so far

All I need is for you to stop doing them for a few months and I should catch up.

Something to note is that your set took about 5 minutes. Honestly I bet most people don't realize that it would be kind of a pain to hold a barbell that long, period... Much less curling it the entire time.

    1. I actually do think about that. The length of time it takes to do this. I couldn't open my hands for about 10 minutes following this set.

Took me twice as long as it took you.

Hey, it's not like I can even touch you on Presses, Squats, Pulls, or anything that matters.

    5. Meh. If he wants to believe that let him. He did 200 reps in 1 workout so OBVIOUSLY, there is no merit.

this is the kind of mentality you see by lots of guys on the internet who do a bench or squat or whatever routine and if they haven't gained 100 pounds on the lift in 3 weeks "that routine sucks".

He also notes that the reason I have big arms is because I can incline 405 and other such pressing. But which is it? Do I have big arms because I can, or can I press those weights because I have big arms?

If it's the latter, and my pressing is at an all time base high (which it is), could it be that all of the support and foundation style work I do play a part in that? Of course it does.

I'll write about this later in the week, maybe.
