Training - Big Workout Lower Body

Bodyweight - 240

4 inch block deads -
135x10 - knew I was in trouble on 135
225x3
315x1,1
405x1,1
500x1
585x1

Lunges - 6 sets of 20
Crunch - 3 sets of 20

Notes - Generally speaking, great deadlifting is not usually something that follows up a night of drinking monster and vodka until 3 in the morning.  I knew this session would be shit, but that's ok.  I had a great time with my friends and I have not been out in a while.

More on this tomorrow.

  1. Lol I know the feeling, my friends are such a bad influence on me always trying to go out haha. On a different note though, I'm 18 and I've gained 30 pounds or so in a little over a year and the funny this is that nowadays I'm often not hungry at all. Eating sort of seems like almost a chore sometimes. Did this ever happen to you when you were younger and gaining weight. I usually have to force feed myself a bit. Any experience with this Paul?

  2. Yeah man, I ask my mom and she tells me not to eat if I'm not hungry and it makes me wanna pull my hair out lol. MJ actually helps me out when I really don't want to eat.

  3. Don't you just love going to the gym, doing your first warm-up set and finding it's heavier than you expected, and knowing right away that session's going to suck?

    2. Do you ever postpone a big workout a day after a night of drinking/eating too much junk and sleeping too little? I can never bring myself to do that.
