  1. Re: westside for raw. Concur. I train at a "westside" gym, but after a few months I said fuck this I'm doing my own thing and went back to basics.

We have two or three guys who lift in gear and it works for them. But the rest of the dudes all like the atmosphere and stick with doing the group work with westside exercises. None of them can squat worth shit. And they look at me and my respectable squat (500 at my last meet), and they see me squatting all the fucking time, and they don't put two and two together.

  3. Paul I haven't listened yet but I'm sure it'll great. Question, have you ever considered a career in broadcasting?

You come across really well on the radio, real natural and there no dead air and you're a funny yet intelligent dude.

Jamie is good as well but he doesnt have your person ability. I have toyou sound better than 95% of the professional radio personalities I've heard who make 6 figure salaries.

Guys like myself are just looking for good non generic advice from someone who paid their dues and is not try to sell us something.

    You definitely fit the bill.

    1. LOL No never considered it at all. Generally I see those kinds of jobs as like becoming a rock star. More like being in the right place at the right time.

I appreciate all the compliment. If you know someone willing to pay me 6 figures to do that I'll quit my job and get right on it. :)

  4. Another great show, thanks.

In regards to horrific crimes, are you familiar with this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murders_of_Channon_Christian_and_Christopher_Newsom ?

It's one of the most horrific crimes to occur in America, yet most people have never heard of it. Perhaps it can be a topic of discussion on a future show.

  6. This was awesome, definitely the best episode.

I´ve done BTN Push Presses for some time, but I think it lacks shoulder strength, since the legs and hip drive make most of the work. I ´ve recently switched to Klokov Presses, and it´s a WHOLE different animal, bruttaly fun exercise.
I totaaly agree with you regarding the first rep. Its funny as shit, I almost black out and grind like a motherfucker during the first rep but when it actually goes up, I end up repping it for 5-6 reps.
